While many seeking additional skills first turn to college as the first option. But I'm living proof that you don't necessary need college to boost your skills.
I have an Masters in General Management and Project Management, along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. While that has helped me greatly in my corporate journey.
The skills that I have acquired outside of college, self-learning software development, UI/UX design, building busienss models, creating blogs, becoming a published author and lanching a startup company has served me far greater.
None of which came from sitting in a classroom earning a degree.
I say this to say that in today's highly competitive climate you must possess the skills to compete for great opportunities when they come your way.
